Summary This movie takes us a look at Taro's youth and how Father of ultra trains him to become a first class fighter. However, this movie throws us a little off track when seen with the Series on Ultraman Taro. Some minor editing would smoothing out some of the serious conflicts involved. Read comments for more details. Comments In the Series, Mother of Ultra says to the 5 UltraWarriors that this was how Ultramen were borned and that Taro was immediately a man before he was even a boy... How can this be? References from the 1980s Manga and also the 1990s Manga show that Ultra were born as children like us humans and that in this moive Taro was indeed seen as a boy. To smoothen this out and link the series together, the Ultraman Taro series should be seen after Ultraman 80 and also Ultraman Leo. Note that in both Ultraman Leo and Ultraman 80 Taro did not make an appearance :) so here goes... Taro was actually borned before the death of Kohtaroh Higashi and that what Mother of Ultra mean was that, Ultras were born from the Light and that the light gave them life like how she gave to this man, Kohtaroh Higashi. However, as powerful as Mother of Ultra was, she is not able to preform the same on an Ultra and that of a Human being. Ultrs being already "sons" of the light only need to be regenerated or produced from other beings of light and that to save this man, he must fusion with an Ultra. ( reborn or born again ) As Taro needs to prove his manhood, he was asked to fuse with Kohtaroh Higashi and that they are to go to earth and protect it. Prior to this, Taro have already tried several times to protect earth when Ace was away on M87. The time when Father of Ultra was injured and brought back to M87 by the 5 UltraWarriors, Taro entered Earth to defeat a few monsters before Ace returned to continue his Tour of Duty.< In this movie, we see quite a number of new footage and even the Land of Light. Also, we see that on Ultraman Ace Eps26 where they said that Father of Ultra "died" was incorrect. It should ahve been "expired" energy source where in the movie we see Mother of Ultra recharging Father of Ultra in a sort of resting bed. This is only true if the Ultraman's body is not fully destroyed or drained to the extent that is beyond repair. We see Ultraman "die" in the 1990s Manga but was resurrected by their Light Goddess.
